Abundance

“Grace and Peace be yours in abundance.” – 1 Peter 1:2

Praise Jesus for a good nights rest. After sleeping 8 hours I couldn’t feel more rested. Yesterday we worked tirelessly in the clinic and got all the medications organized. We also watched the lab tech do a malaria blood test. It was interesting to see the signs and symptoms of malaria and figuring out how to identify a positive test. That is something I would never learn in the states. I am excited to run these tests and begin to treat diseases and illnesses prevalent in only this country.

Another busy day ended in spending time with the kids. They had their first day of school yesterday and so they came home about the same time as we did. Some of them are beginning to learn my name and always accept a hug. It crazy to think I came to love on them, but in reality they are loving on me. Thank you Lord for reminding me of what childlike faith looks like in these precious faces.
