Letter to God
Hey Father!
I hope you had a good day watching me serve your people. I
bet it was exciting to watch your daughter draw blood for the first time! I
sure had fun serving you.
Thanks for allowing me to skype with Jana this morning. It
was just what I needed. I love how your timing is perfect.
Did you see how much I looked to you today? I hope I made
you proud.
I am trying to make the most of every moment here because
this is a once in a lifetime trip. Although I wouldn’t mind if you brought me
back here….. just saying.
I love how you love your people. I wish I could be more like
you in that way. I cannot even explain how much I care for these children at
the BCC, and I know you even care for them more then me. That makes me so
happy!
They are so precious father… but you already knew that.
Thank you for making them just the way they are. They are fearfully and
wonderfully made.
Thank you for bringing Evarlyn and Shamilla into my life. I
had such a full day of serving patients. I was so excited to see how much you
equipped me for what you had prepared today. I gave over 10 immunizations only
because of you.
Thank you for preparing me!
Thank you for keeping us a safe trip so far. The traffic is
so crazy and I know it is only because of your grace that we make it safely to
the BCC every morning.
Thank you for giving me the best parents in the world. I
don’t know why you picked me to be raised by them, but I sure am glad you did.
They are so encouraging. Thank you for making them perfect for me! Bless them!
Tomorrow should be a fun day hanging out at the orphanage.
Allow me to see you in every child. I know you are there, but allow my eyes to
be open to the miracles you have set before me.
I love you father! Thanks for being you!

Just reading your blog brings me such joy, I can't imagine how much joy you bring to our Father! Your parents are so blessed to call you there daughter. Matt and Emily said last night you were there favorite babysitter. How blessed those children in Kenya are to have you as there nurse!
