A Love Letter

Father I am so unworthy of your grace yet you consistently love and adore me. I neglect you on a daily basis yet you never let go of my hand. I tend to be a passive follower of you, My King, yet you graciously give me time. You are a patient God. You are a loving God. You are a forgiving God.

I come into your presence

and am immediately set free

your loving arms are always near

and provide a safe place for me

I come to you all dirty

but you make me white as snow

the past is gone, you've set me free

and I will NEVER let go

I keep on falling on my face

but you promised you will never leave

today is new, the past no more

I suddenly believe

My father how I love you so

my precious voice will sing

I am adored by my God

and am a daughter of the King
