Day 4

"You have made known to me the paths of my life; you will fill me with joy in your presence."
- Acts:2:28

This verse kind of confused me when I first read it because I thought that we should be patient and know that sometimes the road ahead is not revealed to us right away. So as I read this verse my mind was confused at what it meant when it says .... "you have made known to me the paths of my life...." What does that mean? And how can we rest in the Lord's will, but also know the paths he has set before us?

As I started to really think over this verse I realized that it held deeper meaning then I thought. The Lord wants us to know that he has planned our whole life ahead of time. He knows where we are going to end up in 5, 10, and 50 years. He also wants us to know that at his perfect timing he will reveal to us what is in store. This means that patience and persistence is vital in glorifying the Lord. Even though God reveals to us something we may not like we have to remember that he has our best thoughts in mind. So thank you Lord for having a plan for my life that is far greater then I could imagine!

In Him, Hannah
