Let the Teams Arrive

What a long day it has been. We have officially welcomed our teams to Dallas, Texas and started orientation training. This morning consisted of a long quiet time that allowed me to let go of all my anxious thoughts. Thank you Jesus for times of silence and allowing me to soak in your love. You are so beautiful and your love is so evident in preparing my heart for this trip. 

After a long day of meetings I couldn't be more ready to get to Kenya and see this beautiful place in real life. To begin our journey we ate at an African Village Restaurant and started to face the culture shock. 

Scavenger hunt/ get to know you game made everyone so much more comfortable. Thanks to my team for volunteering me to dance... I bonded with everyone real quick! Go Africa Team!

Thank you Jesus for the opportunity to love on your children and embark on this journey. I cannot wait to get on that plane and start this great adventure.
