1 week to go

I am so excited to write today because I am only 8 days away from being in one of the most wonderful places in the world, Kenya! I cannot wait to see all those sweet babies and love on them. I have been waiting for nearly two years to encounter this culture and love on the people of this precious country. So here I am one week away and I couldn't be more excited. Although I am beginning to get nervous I know the lord has amazing opportunities over the next five weeks for me to encounter. So I am approaching this trip as an adventure, a mission, and an opportunity to reach the unreachable and share the mystery of the gospel. I could not feel more honored and humbled by the opportunities the lord has already placed in front of me. I also wanted to take a moment to thank my sponsors because this trip would not be possible without your obedient heart for the lord and his missions. So thank you, thank you for the financial support and also the prayers. I can't wait for all of you to be part of my journey. On a lighter note I have begun to pack up my bags... As of now my suitcase consists of long skirts, tank tops, white t shirts, and lots of arts and crafts for th kids at the orphanage. Every time me and mom step into Walmart we find something that we forgot to pack... So here's to many days of Wally world trips and packing! Africa here I come! Love, Han
