A Heart Full
In 22 days I will be boarding a plane to Nairobi, Kenya to participate in the Lords will. I could not be more amazed at the amount of support I have received from friends and family. To date I have raised over $4300. Praise Jesus! I am excited to begin this journey with prayers being lifted. Jesus is good all the time. This is something I have learned over the last couple weeks and I am enthralled to learn how he will shape my vision of him through this precious city. We are so loved by our heavenly father that he longs to spend time with us and teach us.
On a lighter note... today me and mom went thrift store shopping for clothes. I found out that I need long skirts and dresses for the hot days in Africa this summer. And with the fashion these days... that is hard to find. At the bargain center in downtown Huntsville we were able to find two pairs of overall shorts that I believe will be long enough. It is exciting to see the different culture already. So in 22 days I will be looking like a little missionary in overalls and headbands... and I am super pumped!
