Day 10

"Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord. Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart." -Psalm 119:1-2

How many times a day do I fail to recognize the Lord? A million. How many times a day do I forget to thank him? Always. How many times a day do I forget that he has made me perfect and I should never doubt that? Most of the time. It seems like we always fall short of the glory of God, but maybe that is his point. He wants us to know that we were made in his image, but that he is so much bigger then us. Jesus has faced every temptation out there, and passed. Whereas we face temptations every day and most of the time fail. Does that we mean we are failures, not worthy of his love, or dust? No because the Lord of all creation made us. He made us a little more dependable then we would like to be so that we could depend on him. He made us pretty but not beautiful so that we could find our beauty though him. God has a plan, never doubt that. And remember that he has saved you and made you a daughter of the King. He deserves all our praise. We are a work of art and that is how God intended it. We are constantly growing in him, and realizing our purpose. So enjoy today, finding God amongst trials and blessing. And remember you are a work in progress, and God is never going to give up on you!
