Opportunities Await

I'm Going Home....

The Lord has been so faithful in fulfilling my hearts desires and I am going back. Going back to the place I fell in love with 1 year ago. Going back to where the Lord changed my heart and where he took hold of it forever. I am so ecstatic to announce that I will potentially be going to Malawi, Uganda in September with the nursing students at Auburn to serve the precious people of Africa. 

In lecture today, I spent the whole time looking at my Africa pictures... wishing I could go back. As soon as I got out of class I called my mom to see what her and my dad thought about this opportunity. After getting the go ahead from the parentals earlier today I am one step closer to going back.

Although there are several "what ifs" still in the way of me going back I am just excited for the opportunity. Here are the "what ifs" I will be praying for about my trip to Uganda:

1. I have to have a 3.0 to go on the trip. I will be praying for the Lord to help me focus on my studies and provide the perseverance to get through these hard summer classes.

2. $4500 I have to raise. I will be praying for open hearts willing to support my journey and for the Lord to provide all the necessities.

3. my heart. That I would be diligent in praying about this trip and that I would have a servants heart in the months leading up to the 2 weeks I will be serving the needy in Uganda.

I join you in praying for my heart in these months leading up to the trip. I also urge you to pray about supporting my journey to Uganda. 

I am one lucky girl and I thank Jesus every second for giving me my heart for Africa!
