Jesus’ prayer for believers

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity, Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. “

                        John 17:20-23

God is intimately acquainted with us. He created us, loved us, and died so that we may live. Who is more trustworthy then that? For the God of the universe knows our innermost thoughts and longs to fulfill our desires. Who should we go to then? I think so many times we don’t think our problems are not big enough to go to God. WRONG. God made you, he knows you, and he longs to be in communion with you.

God continually tells us… Would you trust me? I know you!

And my response is always… I will trust you as long as I can be in control

Lets be honest, my ways suck. Sometimes I don’t even know what it is that I want.  But guess what… God does! He knows you, he loves you, and he longs to pursue you. So let him!

As you read the bible I hope you are reminded that this is God’s love letter to us. Each verse was designed to speak to you in your present circumstances. Trust it.

The biggest challenge in this world is learning to live. Live happy, live free, live fully. Well let me tell you something…. God is life!

We were bought for a high price and entrusted with the Holy Spirit so that we may live. Allow your life to overflow with thanksgiving so that God may work in and through you.
