A letter to my brother

My sweet Jack-

You are strong. You are courageous. You are in all ways a leader. I am so proud of you.

Christ has called you to a great adventure in which he will direct. He has orchestrated a marvelous plan for you and I am so overjoyed that I get to see it unfold. I am so proud of you.

 You amaze me. Each day you strive to be more and more like Christ and it astonishes me. You love the unlovable and cherish those who feel insignificant. I am so proud of you.

You use present situations to bring glory and honor to God. You speak with compassion and strength. You are a man among boys. I am so proud of you.

I wish you could see these kids in Kenya. You would fall in love. They are strong like you and have a hunger for Jesus. They are sweet, outgoing, and very smart. They remind me of you. You are the best guy I have ever known. I am so proud of you.

I cannot wait to hug your neck and share stories with you of this place. I also cannot wait for us to travel here together. Thanks for being my brother…. And oh wait, did I tell you?
