Hello America

So I am coming to the end of my journey……… but really it is just the beginning. If there is one thing I have learned this month it is that my journey is unlike anyone elses, and the Lord designed it just for me.

“I am fearfully and wonderfully made”, and that is something to rejoice in.

As I travel across the world today I am reminded of all the things the Lord revealed to me throughout my trip to Africa. I am in awe of who my God is.

Today is Sunday, July 1, 2012  and I will never get to live this day again. Making the most of it is the only way to live.

My name is Hannah Hawkins and I am a nursing student at Auburn University! That may seem like my identity…. But it is not. After experiencing God this month I have realized what a small part of my life that is. Why should we put all our focus into our profession or achievements…. We were made for more! I am a daughter of the most high who was designed for a purpose and nothing is going to keep my Father from finishing what he started in me. I am more then my flesh and that is something to rejoice in.

Today the Lord gave me a sweet blessing in the London airport. I ran into Kelsey Rape. It was such a joy to get to know her heart and catch up on what we have been doing the past month. She shines Jesus and it was so precious to see her carry her faith on her sleeve. I love when God gives us little blessings like that. His timing is perfect and his divine interventions are incredible! Thanks Father!

Take a step back and reflect on who you are…… you will be amazed at what the Lord shows you.

-       beautiful

-       fearfully and wonderfully made

-       chosen

-       pursued

-       uplifted

-       prospering

-       not alone

-       a daughter

-       a sister

-       a leader

-       lead

-       understood

-       comforted

-       never forsaken

-       more then flesh

-       bought for a high price

-       adopted

-       a servant

-       made for a purpose

-       promised

Thank you Lord for constantly reminding me of all these things. It is easy to find my identity in this world, but I was made for more then that….. we all were made for more then that! You are ABBA FATHER and worthy of all praise!

A LETTER FROM GOD

I love you regardless of how well you are performing. Sometimes you feel uneasy, wondering if you are doing enough to be worthy of My Love. No matter how exemplary your behavior, the answer to that question will always be NO! Your performance and My Love are totally different issues, which you need to sort out. I love you with an everlasting Love that flows out from eternity without limits or conditions. I have clothed you in My robe of righteousness, and this is an eternal transaction: Nothing and no one can reverse it. Therefore, your accomplishment as a Christian has no bearing on my Love for you. Even your ability to assess how well you are doing on a given day is flawed. Your limited human perspective and the condition of your body, with its mercurial variations, distort your evaluations.

            Bring your performance anxiety to Me, and receive in its place My unfailing Love. Try to stay conscious of My loving Presence with you in all that you do, and I will direct your steps!
